“After more than 28 years of working as a practitioner in the Criminal Justice space, working at equivant allows me the opportunity to combine my experiences with software specifically designed with the end user in mind. As an agent, supervisor, or administrator on the front lines, there is not much time to consider how software can benefit our daily work; however, in my role now, I am able to help identify and guide how equivant solutions can improve the way CJ staff do their work. Playing a role in the creation and improvement of the systems and solutions other practitioners now use has reenergized and redefined how I continue to serve the CJ community. One of the most enjoyable aspects of my work includes talking with other CJ professionals and learning more about their business processes, their local systems, and the challenges facing their agency. Working together with our internal teams to create solutions for those challenges has been exceptionally gratifying.”
