We are one of the few supervision software solution providers that has an in-house practitioner composed research team. These highly skilled PhD statisticians and Research Scientists are dedicated to the exploration of new ideas and tools in criminal justice. In addition, they successfully lead and complete agency-specific inter-rater reliability (IRR), norming and validation studies for those jurisdictions across the country seeking input on the usefulness and validity of the instruments they use. Our Research team completes analysis on the use of risk and need assessments such as COMPAS (standard and COMPAS-R), LSI and ORAS tools, as well as pretrial risk assessment instruments including the PSA, VPRAI/VPRAI-R, and CAPA.
